Hi David it’s nice to see that you are still preforming and not looking any older. Don’t know if you remember me from the Maddison night club in Nottingham when you and Leslie Ash visitor us after you been to see a show at the theatre royal. It would be nice to catch up with you after all these years if you have any time available, unfortunately we can not make your Derby show which is pity, because we live not far from derby. IN THE 70S I ENJOYED A NUMBER OF DAVID'S SINGLES--ESPECIALLY ROCK ON AND CITY LIGHTS. bUT FOR SOME REASON I SAW HIM AS JUST ANOTHER POP SINGER, AND AS SUCH NEVER LISTENED TO HIS ALBUMS. THEN A COUPLE OF YEARS BACK I READ IN MAGAZINE REVIEWS OF HIS FIRST 4 ALBUMS, EACH OF THEM IN THE REVIEW HIGHLY RATED. CURIOUS, I SET OUT TO FIND COPIES. NO EASY TASK. BUT COUPLE OF MONTHS BACK I FINALLY FOUND THEM. AND I AM HERE TO SAY THEY ARE AS GOOD AS THE REVIEWS SAID. A LOT OF THIS MATERIAL STANDS UP REALLY WELL, AND I'M KICKING MYSELF FOR HAVING WAITED SO LONG TO ENJOY THIS MUSIC. DAMNED IMPRESSIVE, I HAVE TO SAY. BUT WHY, OH WHY CAN WE NOT GET COPIES OF THE ALBUMS RELEASED UNDER HIS OWN LABEL?? I WOULD SO LOVE TO HEAR WHERE HIS SONGWRITING TOOK HIM OVER THE YEARS. Hello! First, I'd like to say what a huge fan I am. My dad would play Rock On for me as a kid, and it was one song that I'd always tell him to "play it again!" In 2024, I started my own dance company called Strive Dance Company. It's growing tremendously, and It's a lifelong dream come true. Our niche is that we perform to live music. And what kind of music inspires me? Rock! We've done a David Bowie Tribute and a Fleetwood Mac Tribute already. We've also put on a contemporary/spooky retelling of "Alice in Wonderland," and called it "Alice in a Twisted Wonderland." We've also done two dance videos. Last year we did a video to Florence and the Machine. This year we did our dance video to "Rock On." I first fell for this lovely man when I seen him in the Winters tale video. As a teen. It was all romance, tones of Heathcliff and Cathy I was hooked but so much more to come. I’m married now and strangely my husband has or ‘ HAd ‘lovely dark curly hair and beautiful eyes’ funny that. HA! Looking forward to more on here.
